Holi Powder Anniversary Portraits // Kate & Indigo
There’s nothing like a anniversary portraits to brighten up your day! Kate and Caroline two are amazing! And I was thrilled when they contacted me to plan their session! I had such a wonderful time getting to see them again after photographing their Paris on Ponce wedding extravaganza earlier in the year.

Kate & Caroline, also known as Indigo, are some of the most joyful people to be around, EVER. Every experience I’ve had with these two has been a complete delight, and this portrait session was no exception. For their semi-anniversary portraits, they enjoyed a picnic, Kate read aloud Jane Eyre to Indigo as Indigo looked on lovingly. And after all that was done, we got down and dirty with a color fight!
We went with a color powder fight for the second half of their portrait session for a few reasons, the biggest one being that they’re fun as hell! But Kate & Indigo are always up for whatever in addition to each having a “signature color,” so the pieces fell into place easily. The color powder fight was a wonderful and exciting way to end our session together! We all had a blast!
