Kaitlyn and Gwen have known each other for over a decade, developing a friendship together long before moving into dating. They both have huge, hilarious personalities and they complement each other perfectly. They’re marrying this fall in an intimate backyard wedding, so we put together an engagement session to celebrate their love. We chose the Farmer’s Market and the Atlanta Beltline as a combination of their urban & rural roots with nods to their love of food and cooking {and eating} together. The colors along the sections of the Beltline perfectly suited their sunny dispositions. I had a blast goofing around with these two.
Atlanta Beltline Engagement Portraits
It had POURED the day before and the early morning of this session day. But, thankfully cleared up beautifully by the time we went out for our walk. We started off at the Carter Center Farmer’s Market. The three of us had fun exploring what all the vendors had for us to sample. And, we even wound up buying a couple of treats along the way {and trying some killer pecan butter!}. And there were some beautiful magnolias that we had to capture before heading down to the Beltline. If you’ve been around awhile, you know that’s one of my favorite places to photograph. Because of the weather, seasons, work they’re doing, and what art is out, it’s an ever-changing place, so there’s always something new to explore there.
I found some of my new favorite spots with these two on this trip and was kept grinning and laughing the whole time. Thank you, Kaitlyn & Gwen for an amazing Atlanta engagement session!
